About Jeff S. Hughes
Jeff Hughes attended College of the Canyons for 2 years before moving on to The University of Oklahoma on a Baseball scholarship in 1984. He graduated from California State University Northridge in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then pursued a career in Baseball where he played professionally in the minor leagues with the San Francisco Giants and the Salt Lake City Trappers. After his short-lived Baseball experience, Jeff returned to University of Oklahoma School of Law, where he graduated “With Honors”.
Jeff began his career as a personal injury lawyer as a defense attorney. He started with Bush, Koppel &Schweizer; specializing in Special Investigation in Fraud cases with various insurance carriers. He then worked for The Law Offices of John Boyko, serving as a Trial Attorney for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Jeff then transitioned to doing plaintiff’s personal injury in 2000, and he and Rob Gibson began the firm of Gibson &Hughes in 2001.
Jeff has tried many cases to verdict. He has tried all types of cases including, auto accident, slip and fall, dog bite and wrongful termination. He is a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
